Justine Dobbin was employed to take control of one of our seven hotels kitchens that we operated within South East Queensland. Her role was an integral part of our management team that over saw a complete redevelopment of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets.
Justine took control of all food outlets and was instrumental is transforming a very underperforming food business to becoming a highly profitable and successful business model.
We then took this model to underpin all new acquisitions and any further refurbishment that occurred within our growing hotel group.
The change in our business was astronomical; when Justine started with us our food business was turning over approximately $210,000 per annum and contributing a loss of $40,000 to our bottom line. With hard work and strong business skills she helped grow the business to a $2Million per annum turnover with a return to the bottom line for the company of 12% all within an 18 month cycle.
I work with Justine often to discuss future direction of our business and she always a great help and support to me and my executive team to give us confidence in the future of the food and beverage business of our group.
